shutters are up. the gas grill and all other yard furniture, plants, etc are secured in the back shed. kitty and puppy have their rooms in the hallway, kitty has her harness on (to facilitate easier grabbing from under couches and other hiding places), food and water are stowed.

so far today i’ve been stressed, nervous, anxious, determined, exhausted, irritable, focused, distracted, angry, sad, terrified, shaky, tired, and upset. and those are just the emotions i can identify.
