i: play with toys, wear chuck taylors (or rocketdogs) in quiet defiance of the work dress code, sing in my car with the windows rolled down, dance in the grocery store aisles, wear my heart on my sleeve, am learning to eat more creatively and healthy, have lost 50 pounds since January 2007, listen to podcasts, take tai chi, believe.

I’m a Texas native who was transplanted to South Florida in Spring of 2002. I live in a lovely Key West style cottage with my Sweetie, Puddy (tabby cat), Isis & Cleo (Jack Russell Terriers), and Plug (Tuxedo rescue). I received my Masters degree in Social Work from Barry University in May 2006.
I am studying Fu Style Tai Chi. I sing often and loudly, but mostly when nobody is around. I’m a former choir and musical theatre freak. I love to pick out tunes on a piano and am learning to do the same on an acoustic guitar. I know a smattering of sign language. I’m a computer geek and have designed a website or two. I have a Blackberry and an Ipod.
I have been Catholic, Episcopalean, Baptist, Southern Baptist, Mormon, Pagan, Taoist, and Buddhist. I’ve been baptized multiple times by multiple denominations. I believe strongly in everything. I believe in personal Truth. I believe in Love.
Don’t expect me to fit any label or in any box. Just when you think you’ve got me figured out, I’ll surprise you. I surprise myself. I value honesty - even if it makes me (or you) uncomfortable but I won’t try to hurt you (don’t hurt me, please). I’m charming and witty. I like making people smile and laugh. I have complete confidence in myself, but I want your approval and assurances that you value me. If you love me, tell me - I’ll tell you too!!
